Yale is made on a new last, Last 391. An ‘on trend’, short vamp last that has been specifically made for Loafer production. A leather lined penny loafer featuring a full saddle strap, traditional raised heel kicker and a single leather sole. Made from Horween’s burgundy shell cordovan. The Shell Cordovan used by Crockett & Jones is both unique and exclusive. A traditional and lengthy process of specialist vegetable tanning, hand dyeing and finishing produces the distinctive strong fibre structure and rich shiny texture of Cordovan leather.
